Bidders Meeting for Community Based Organizations - March 7, 2010
  PlusTime NH, in partnership with the NH Department of Education and the Nellie Mae Education Foundation, announces the availability of grant funds for Manchester-focused community based organizations to offer credit bearing group learning opportunities.
 

PlusTime NH offers regional and private trainings to afterschool program staff and directors in areas ranging from program start-up to sustainability. Our annual conferences bring together experts from the school-age field and allow for great networking opportunities.

The Art of Afterschool

Growing Up WILD: Exploring Nature with Children

 Growing Up WILD: Exploring Nature with Young Children is a new supplementary educational program for young learners designed to connect children ages 3 – 7 with nature and wildlife. Workshop participants will have an opportunity to sample Growing Up WILD activities that foster critical early childhood skill development, while tapping into children’s sense of wonder about nature and the wildlife around them.
  • Integrates art, music, science, reading, math, and much more in nature-based activities
  • Supports developmentally appropriate practice
  • Correlated to National Association for the Education of Young Children Standards and Head Start Domains
