The Corporate Fund Award for Excellence in Nonprofit Management is awarded annually to those organizations demonstrating exemplary nonprofit management practices.

"When nonprofits are stronger, the lives of all New Hampshire’s citizens are improved."
Jill H. Wurm, Chair of the Corporate Fund
PlusTime NH works alongside many established groups and talented individuals to further our goal of "Afterschool for All".  We are sincerely grateful for the energy and commitment put forth by the following partners.

NH Department of Education
Our relationship with the NH DOE spans many projects, from advocating for 21st Century Community Learning Center's to serving as Co-chairs for the NH Afterschool Evaluation Task Force.  A current collaboration includes working together on the NH Extended Learning Opportunities Leadership Team, to implement a program for high school students to receive school credit for certain afterschool activities.

PlusTime NH has worked with Governor's in the past three administrations on initiatives such as the Kids Cabinet, the 3 to 6 Task Force on Afterschool and the current NH Extended Learning Opportunities Leadership Team.

PlusTime NH's President and CEO (Cynthia Billings) serves as the Chair of the Policy and Planning Committee for the Child Care Advisory Council.  Other PlusTime NH staff members serve on the Public Engagement Committtee.

NH Children's Advocacy Network
PlusTime NH sits on the Steering Committee of NH CAN to help set annual priorities for children.

Healthy Eating Active Living
Like many organizations, PlusTime NH is concerned about the well-being of our children.  We are members of a steering committee to create a statewide plan for communication plans, education and programming development and policy recommendations.

PlusTime NH chairs an afterschool committee committed to improving the health and fitness levels of NH school children.

PlusTime NH collaborated with HNHfoundation to provide funding to afterschool programs for nutrition curriculum and/or fitness equipment.

PlusTime NH served on the NH Childhood Obesity Expert Panel and contributed to recommendations for the prevention of childhood obesity.

Without Infowave, this website would not be possible.  Thanks so much for your vision and commitment, (not to mention patience!)

Afterschool Professional Development Committee
PlusTime NH sits on a task force to create national core competencies and systems for professional development in the afterschool profession.

Every Child Matters is a national non-profit organization that encourages voters to demand that children's issues be a part of all candidate's political platform.  PlusTime NH is collaborating with ECM during the primary season to ask candidates about how they plan to support the programs that keep kids safe, help working families and inspire learning afterschool.

The Afterschool Alliance is the nation's leading advocacy organization for Afterschool.  Their support and assistance is too broad to mention (thank you!), but one initiative we must mention- Project 2010.  Haven't signed up?  Click the link above and find out how you can sign up to support Afterschool for All by 2010.

Through a collaboration with Citizens Bank, PlusTime NH has been able to assist in their "Tools for Schools" program and donate 3,000 backpacks full of school supplies to youth in afterschool programs throughout the state.
