"When nonprofits are stronger, the lives of all New Hampshire’s citizens are improved."
Jill H. Wurm, Chair of the Corporate Fund

PlusTime NH strives for a day when every child in NH is safe, supported
and inspired afterschool.
Together, we can make it happen.

 PlusTime NH:
  • Creates new afterschool programs that meet community need
  • Improves existing programs through training and ongoing consultation
  • Funds afterschool programs
  • Leverages financial and volunteer resources
  • Advocates for public (local, state and federal) funding
  • Collaborates with local community, state, national and private organizations for financial, programmatic, and informational support
  • Educates the public by reporting the outcomes and lessons learned from our collaborative efforts
Did you know?
  • The hours between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. are the most dangerous for kids.
  • Nearly 25% of NH children go home alone after school.
  • Youth in afterschool programs do better in school, are less likely to use drugs or alcohol, and are less likely to drop out of high school.
The more you learn about the positive benefits that quality afterschool programs provide, the more you will want to help.  Browse the site, check out the links, and be sure to find out if the children in your community have somewhere safe and inspiring to go afterschool. If they don't, call us.  Together, we can work to make aftershool happen in your community.
